How to make  your  own  pH indicator at home

Materials list: 

1 head of red cabbage

2 quarts of water
strainer

Instructions:

 place the cabbage in the water

bring the water to a boil and boil for 15-20 minutes

 strain the water and discard all solid peices

use your indicator to find the pH of various household solutions
